Grantown East Highland Heritage and Cultural Centre.

This is a fantastic new attraction following restoration of the old station building complete with an old railway carriage which provides a superb restaurant /café experience. Great display boards tell the story of the Speyside Railway Line which operated between 1863 and 1968. There is also information on the history of the Highland Games across Scotland.

Historic Speyside Railway

If you arrive there before the last train of the day departs we would recommend you experience a trip on the Historic Speyside Railway which leaves for Boat of Garten and Broomhill and then return. This is a trip along 10 miles of track behind a steam locomotive in vintage carriages through beautiful scenery along the River Spey.
