The Ryvoan and Lochan Uaine circuit is a medium walk (distance 10km - 2.5 hours) up through Caledonian pines to the beautiful Green Loch. There is then a gentle climb leading up to Ryvoan Pass. Great views of Loch Morlich and the Cairngorm on the return.
Car park at the Glenmore Forest Park Visitor Centre
As an alternative day walk we recommend the Dava Way.
Grantown-on-Spey to Dava and return is around 26km (6 to 7 hours).
The Dava way at Grantown starts at the old railway line at Dulicht Bridge, just past the Caravan Park.
The Dava Way is an old railway line converted into a great walking and cycling route!
There is no official parking at the start of Dava. Parking available at The Square in Grantown-on-Spey.
