Day 1: Elgin to Portsoy

Morning walk; Elgin Town Walk

Easy walk. Learn about historic Elgin! Check out the High Street, the ruined Cathedral, walk along the River Lossie and climb up to the top of Lady Hill and see the Gordon Monument.

Afternoon walk; Ancestors' Trail, Quarrelwood, Elgin

Easy walk. Around 4km (1.5 hours) circular forest trail through an Oakwood part of which is an ancient semi natural wood.
