Findhorn Bay Local Nature Reserve

Findhorn Bay is an enclosed estuary giving shelter to wildlife and is an important habitat for migrant wildfowl and waders In summer it supports nesting osprey whilst in winter it supports large numbers of Iceland / Greenland pink footed geese

Loch Spynie

Loch Spynie is an important habitat for wetland flora and fauna. It is one of the few Scottish localities for alder swamp woodland Osprey fish here in the spring and summer when marsh harriers may also be seen The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds have provided a bird hide and feeders which can be reached from the carpark
