In spring the grassy braes behind the beach are covered in primroses and then bluebells The seashore is home to redshanks, turnstones and ringed plovers Out in the bay dolphins can often be seen frolicking

RSPB Scotland Troup Head

Clifftop walk overlooking mainland Scotland's only Gannetry with 1,500 of these majestic birds. Also look out for puffins, guillemots and razorbills.
